Clear Security Film 300µm P2A – Interior Installation

This security film with 300µm thickness goes well beyond standard shatter protection: it creates throw-through resistant glazing to P2A and significantly delays break-in attempts. With 92 % light transmission, the film remains virtually invisible and changes neither the light nor the appearance of the glazing. Recommended for commercial premises, ground-floor apartments and properties with increased security requirements.

Anti-Burglary Protection – How It Works

During a break-in attempt, the intruder must smash through the glass to gain entry. The 300µm security film consists of a tough, elastic and ageing-resistant polyester film that holds the glass together even after multiple impacts. This creates a throw-through resistant barrier to P2A, significantly increasing the time required for a break-in. The film also increases resistance to pressure, impact, blows and heat – including vandalism and fire exposure.

Suitable Glazing Types

This film is suitable for interior installation on the following glass types:

• Single glazing
• Tinted single glazing
• Insulating glazing (double glazing)
• Low-E glass
• Tinted low-E glass
• Laminated glass / safety glass

Installation

The film is applied from the interior side onto clean, smooth glass. For effective anti-burglary protection, it is important to install the film right up to the window frame or seal, leaving no unprotected glass surface.

Important notes:

• Unroll the film and store it flat before installation to avoid creases
• Use a sturdy squeegee with a hard rubber edge and go over the film 2–3 times after application to remove excess liquid and improve adhesion
• Instructions and an installation kit are included with delivery
